Typically, participants will fly into:

  1. Athens International Airport

    Note: From Athens there are four ways to travel to Kalamata: by train, by bus, by renting a car, by hiring a taxi.

    Note: There are several brand new sections of highway between Athens and Kalamata, that amount to an overall 3.5 hours drive from Athens to Kalamata.

  2. Thessaloniki International Airport

    Note: From Thessaloniki there are direct flights to Kalamata.

  3. Kalamata International Airport

    Note: During the Summer season (April to October) there are several direct charter flights between Kalamata and major european cities such as Paris, Vienna, Berlin etc.

    Note: a taxi ride from the Kalamata International Airport to the conference hotel will cost around 20 euros.

Visa Invitation Letters

Conference participants that require visas to travel to Greece to attend the conference, are kindly requested to e-mail the conference organizers to solicit an official invitation letter.

European Union countries citizens do not require a visa to enter Greece. They only require a valid passport or an ID card (for Schengen countries).

Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Iceland, Switzerland and USA citizens, entering Greece for a period of less than 3 months, do not require a visa to enter Greece.
